Community
We believe that the church is more than a building. We love to get outside the walls and get into our community and meet the people who live around us. We care about the people of Ida and surrounding cities and want to share the love of Christ with them by reaching out and helping individuals and families by doing things like putting up fences, raking leaves, handing out free Bibles & backpacks, holding free soccer skills clinics for the community kids and supporting our teachers.
Our church also owns a food booth at the Monroe County Fair. Our mission at the fair is to raise money to give to a person, family or organization in need in our community. None of our profit goes into the church. We are there soley to bless people. We also have a table out front of our booth where we interact with people and teach Bible verses. We absolutely love to see how many come to memorize the verses and hear the Gospel, some for the first time.
