that He is in control.
I am a pastor’s kid and have grown up in ministry life living up and down the mid-west from Michigan to Texas. I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age and I surrendered my life to God my first semester at Mission University in Springfield, Mo. After graduating I worked for 2 years in Enid Oklahoma as a Youth Pastor and then moved to Tyler TX to work as the Associate Pastor for 17 years at the church where my dad is the pastor. My wife, Brook, is from Toledo, and her grandparents are from Ida. We have a daughter, Cierra who is 23yrs old living in Tyler TX.
It won't take long after you meet me to know that I love helping and meeting new people. I just recently celebrated 10 years at Cornerstone. I am passionate about teaching the Bible and I want each member to find their place serving God. I also serve as head chaplain for the Monroe County Sherriff Department working with the officers and people going through tragic, life changing events. I give advice, counsel, encouragement and pray for those who are hurting hoping to point them to Christ.
My hobbies and interests include jeeps, soccer, motorcycles, target shooting & spending time with family. Brook works as a Graphic Artist and Photographer and enjoys doing anything outdoors. Cierra
is currently in the Navy. She loves art, music, soccer, cooking and reading. She is getting ready to move to San Antonio to train as a Master At Arms.
We love serving at Cornerstone, God has brought us to a great church. We are excited about the energy and anticipation we see growing in the congregation and their love for our community.
Our church feels like a family.
